We are ecstatic to highlight Erin Vorland, who joined us in Nov. 2021! At Valent Partners, Erin is building on her consulting career driving client success and diving into the vast unknown of the Metaverse and Web 3.0. She's been a key part of driving outcomes as both contributor and leader in web development, technical architecture, Augmented Reality/Game development, always plunging headfirst into difficult problems (business and technical).

If left to her own devices, you'd find Erin playing outdoor games/sports for hours. She's big into slanging discs on the disc golf course, running hard on the Ultimate frisbee field and diving for digs on the sand volleyball courts. She will also get overly competitive at backyard BBQ games (bags, Spike Ball, Can Jam etc.), so casual players beware!

It is with great excitement that we announce Daniel Lozano as a new colleague at Valent Partners!

At Valent, Daniel is continuing to build on his 8+ year technology #consulting career. He has valuable experience and perspective in business, technology, and product, and is fascinated by the challenging problems that exist at their intersections. He is a thoughtful and empathetic leader who edifies those around him regardless of formal posts and hierarchies. A tinkerer at heart, he finds himself most at home in front of a whiteboard or writing C#, SQL, and/or Javascript/Typescript.

Outside of work, Daniel expresses his creativity though music. With the piano as his instrument of choice, he is an occasional performer and spends hours each week perfecting his craft. He is a long-time volunteer at Bold Idea, a Dallas-based non-profit that helps students gain confidence and hands-on experience in essential computer science skills. He is also a founding member of the Hexagon Club, a young professional’s organization dedicated to promoting and funding Bold Idea.

We are excited to announce a new colleague at Valent Partners, Jake Webb!

At Valent, Jake will build on his career leveraging technology consulting experience and personal passion around process automation and driving efficiency. He brings experience with the latest cloud technologies and software architecture across a host of industries and leading teams throughout the entire SDLC.

Jake and his wife, Cicely, got a pet Havanese during Covid and love to spoil him. In his free time, he will most likely be found on the golf course or driving down to Austin for a #Longhorns football game.

It is with great excitement that we highlight, Bjørn Svendsen, who joined us in January of 2022.

At Valent Partners, Björn, building on his cross-Atlantic talent-centric career leveraging hands-on and strategic talent acquisition experience across a variety of corporate and advisory roles in government, #financialservices , & #technologyconsulting, will be pivotal in building and maturing Valent’s talent organization while providing talent advisory services to our clients.

Out of the office Björn is a dedicated husband, father, and utterly overenthusiastic coach for his son’s soccer team (GO PROTONS!). When not on the soccer field Björn, enjoys walking Bernie, his miniature Goldendoodle. Björn is also a passionate cinephile who balances a love of Kubrick, Kurasawa, and Scorsese with the guilty pleasures of 80’s roided-up action movies.

It is with great excitement that we announce a new #Valentian, Jeff Williams.

At Valent Partners, Jeff will build on his #career leveraging broad experience and personal passion around data structures, system design, and all things C# and .NET. Jeff is an avid tennis player and sometimes-avid runner. He loves language, reading, writing, and will never turn down a good fantasy book. Hopefully someday he’ll write his own!

Our next highlight is Molly Jones, who joined Valent Partners in December of 2021 as our Operations Associate.

Since joining, Molly has been using their administrative experience to implement operational structure throughout our rapidly growing firm. They work across our departments to ensure support where needed, particularly in regard to the onboarding of new Valentians, and are very excited to continue growing their career alongside their peers at Valent.

In their personal life Molly enjoys creating art, reading, loving their cat Skaya, and playing a good game of Dungeons and Dragons with their friends. They have recently picked up crocheting and are looking into taking a blacksmithing class in the fall.

It is with great excitement that we highlight Stetson Dubberly this week, who joined us in January of 2022.

At Valent Partners, Stetson is leveraging experience in varying roles from consulting to solution designing to sales in order to deliver valuable outcomes for our clients. He enjoys taking on challenging problems and improving / redesigning processes, while focusing on the business value to clients.

Stetson is a big sports enthusiast, usually down to play most any and every sport. On top of being a huge Alabama fan and alumnus, he loves to play both soccer and volleyball 1-2 times a week. When not playing, he likes to watch or go to college football games and can always be counted on to get up for a Chelsea FC game on weekend mornings. Outside of the realm of sports, he is an occasional gamer, enjoys trying different foods, traveling to new places, and hanging out with friends old and new!

It is with great excitement that we highlight Hirva Shah, who joined us in October of 2021!

Since joining Valent Partners in the Fall, Hirva has worked on multiple projects in different industries that has broadened her skills in full stack web development, cloud infrastructure, web and mobile architecture. Hirva is excited to continue tackling new projects in industries outside of her previous career experience beyond fintech and back-end development.

In her free time, Hirva enjoys traveling, spin classes, and being outdoors. Hirva recently hit her goal of going to 100 spin classes and continues to encourage other Valentians to join her in spin class! Her new goal is to walk the Katy Trail and listen to a new podcast every day.

At Valent Partners, Jason is building on his career of consulting and advising technology leaders to bring impactful change to their organizations. Jason brings a long history of experience with large scale architecture and digital transformations in cloud, data, and software across many industries and has a passion for teaching, training, and leveling up teams.

His life interests are centered around his fondness for the outdoors that were established at an early age while growing up in rural Texas. Jason enjoys sharing this devotion with his two young children and wife through camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, cycling, kayaking, and observing nature. Jason is a member in a variety of land and wildlife conservation groups including Ducks Unlimited, Texas Wildlife Association, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, and the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership.

We are excited to highlight Jared Hopland, who joined us in August of 2021!

At Valent Partners Jared is helping with the development of mobile and web apps for a fintech client, and implementing automated testing as new features and apps are created.

Outside of work Jared likes to learn new instruments and songs and is currently learning how to play guitar, but can currently play percussion/drums, piano, ukulele, and kalimba. He also enjoys travelling to see family and friends in TN and NC including my niece (pictured below) and my newborn nephew.

As a side note - Jared is a double legacy of one of our senior partners as they share both high school (Science Hill High School) and university (University of Tennessee, Knoxville) alma maters.

We are excited to share more about Alex A. Bran, who joined us in June of 2021!

Valent Partners has become Alex’s next step in his career, as a Senior Consultant. He is leveraging his experience in project management, business analytics, and supply chain in order to provide clients with creative and effective solutions.

Within Valent, Alex is able to grow his knowledge and passion for analytics, technology, and enterprise systems thinking to solve complex business needs. During his time at Valent, he has modeled and assisted in the execution of complex technology decisions throughout an M&A integration.

When he is not working with clients, Alex has contributed greatly to help building Valent Partners as an organization that cares about our employees. Alex has lent his photography skills in pursuance of helping build Valent’s and each individual Valentian’s brand with professional portraits. He has been a core member of defining and growing the culture of the company and ensuring it is continuously aligned with each valued member of our organization. His goal for the future cultural outlook of the company is to enable and elevate all employees to be a part of something great, bold, innovative, and fun.

His life interests include photography, golf, and building custom water-cooled workstations/servers. He has been an avid crypto spokesperson and even mines cryptocurrency on multiple platforms. And of course new on his list of passions - being a caring father to a lovely daughter born in 2021.

We're excited to share a highlight around Evgenii Klepilin!!

Since joining Valent Partners in late Spring 2021, Evgenii has been exploring Microsoft Azure Cloud development and architecture on top of deepening his expertise in #fullstackdeveloper #webdevelopment and #mobileappdevelopment. #azure

During his time at Valent he has improved multiple legacy codebases, introduced better coding standards and #devops practices for our clients' teams, and has mentored teammates and advised them in technical areas. Evgenii is currently pursuing a Microsoft Azure Associate Developer AZ-204 certification to deepen his expertise in the area of #clouddevelopment , and open doors for more opportunities for himself and our firm.

In his free time, Evgenii enjoys playing basketball, working out, learning to play piano, hiking, creating calligraphy and typography, and playing Rocket League and board games with friends.
